Organ Pipe Cactus National Monument

The campground at Organ Pipe is the best by far campground of any of the parks we have stayed at. The camp areas and facilities are clean and well taken care of. Most of the sites have hard surface parking accommodating any size RV and the layout makes for a feeling of privacy. It was not crowded even though we were there at the height of the cactus blooming season.

A lot of the park was closed off due to the proximity of the international border and the illegal activity taking place. The fact is we saw more border patrol personnel then we saw park visitors. We did not encounter any problems and enjoyed our stay immensely.
